Known for her warmth, humour and emotional depth, singer-songwriter Anna Howie brings her high energy full band and new album Good for Roses to Petworth this autumn.
Blending Americana, folk, and country influences, London-born Howie has built a reputation for heartfelt storytelling and exquisite musicianship. Her latest album delves into themes of love, resilience, and self-discovery, earning praise for its lyrical depth and authentic sound.
Good for Roses follows the success of Howie’s previous releases and solidifies her status as one of the UK’s most exciting country artists. “I can’t wait to bring these new songs to life on stage,” says Anna. She’ll be joined on stage by her brilliant band: Andy Evans on guitar, Roger Nunn on drums and percussion, John Brooker on bass, Harry Whitty on keys and trumpet.

& welcoming back a Sessions favourite - Anouska Assisi
Acoustic pop singer songwriter Anouska Assisi brings together a broad range of musical genres into a unique and accessible sound. Anouska's songs have catchy hooks with thoughtful and considered lyrics. Taking inspiration from pop idols Ed Sheeran and KT Tunstall, Anouska uses a loop station to build original music live, transforming songs from a single strum on the guitar to a lush production in a few bars.
Anouska last played for us a couple of years back when we were still part of the Petworth Fringe, and has developed from supporting national artists to her own headline shows in London and beyond. We're delighted that she has found the time to visit us again before she's too famous.
